Chuck:
Thanks for the info and the phone number. Never one to pass up an opportunity to send a photo, I am attaching one that I did a few years ago of parula warblers which was fortunate enough to win a blue in intermediate at the Ward Show. The branches were made with Apoxie as well as the eye settings. Also at seminars there this year I believe it was Tom Matus who uses Apoxie (I know it was one of the speakers, I think he) and recommended it. Having used Tuff Carve and Atlas in the past I always had to use gloves to avoid bad allergic reactions (eye puffiness) and I took to heart the warning on the widely used yellowblue epoxy that the stuff is “carcinogenic”. As a competitive carver, it is the best material and the one that does not cause me allergic reactions. In addition the Apoxie Sculpt is delightful to work with and goes a long way. Thanks for making my carving goals more enjoyable, safer, and easier to accomplish.
