More from Rick Spears, Exhibits Coordinator,
Rock Eagle Natural History Museum, Georgia

Hello Aves!

I've sent you some photos of a recent project using your Apoxie sculpting medium.  It is a halfsize (juvenile) model of a cryptozoological creature known as the  Altamahaha, or Alty, that may or may not exist in the waters of the Georgia Coast.  It is part of an exhibit I'm building for the Rock Eagle Natural History Museum, near Eatonton, Georgia (not too far from Atlanta).

Alty is constructed from carved styrofoam around a pvc armature, with the final skin being your Apoxie. The material handled and painted superbly! And, since it is so strong when set, the outer layer is less than .25 inches thick.  The whole model weighs less than 35 lbs.

Thank you for your fine product!

Sincerely,

Rick Spears,
Exhibits Coordinator
