Joe is one of the hobby's most widely featured artists. His models and articles have appeared in Military Modelling (England), Historical Miniature, IPMS Modeler's Journal, FineScale Modeler, AMPS Boresight, Modeler's Resource, Custom Dioramics catalog (Canada), Verlinden Modeling Magazine, Master Hobby Magazine (Hong Kong), The Scabbard (MMSI), Andrea Miniatures Catalog (1998), Osprey Military Journal, Kitbuilders, Model Graphix (Japan), and Tamiya Catalog 2000. He is also a regular columnist in Military Miniatures in Review. His work has garnered over 300 awards including over 70 Best of Show and special awards, and he has been given lifetime memberships in IPMS Houston and The VLS Master's Group. Joe has painted box art figures for Verlinden, Jaguar, Yanks, Warriors, Legends & Lore, Custom Dioramics, Fatman, and Enigma, and his work is found in private collections throughout the United States.
