Antiques and treasured keepsakes can be repaired and restored so they may be passed down to children and grandchildren!  Successful completion of this work is quick and easy with Aves products like Apoxie^® Sculpt and Apoxie^® Paste.

This charming Care Bear Bank was a treasured possession of Matthew. It was broken into many pieces during a move to a new home. It was at first repaired with a super glue product. While that did hold the pieces together, more or less, it didn’t “restore” the object to its original condition, much less improve it. Here, Apoxie^® Paste was used to “coat the inside” (for extra strength) and fill in some of the cracks. Apoxie^® Sculpt was used to fill in the chips and add 3-D customization (puffier clouds) to actually improve the look.
To finish this project off the Care Bear Bank was hand painted with acrylics and sealed with with a clear coat to finish the restoration.
