Many Arts, Crafts & Classroom Uses, including:
• Great clays and machés for the home, studio, and classroom. Also great for larger school projects and creations. No ovens, kilns or fumes! Air hardening one and two part clays. All clays self harden; no heat required! Nontoxic, no solvents or fumes. Soap and water cleanups or use Apoxie® Safety Solvent. Create special decor, figures, jewelry and original sculptures; use with kits and models; build detail; fill molds; cover armatures. Add color to your projects! Create models for art, science, social studies. Create relief maps, dioramas, and other realistic scenery with Aves® clay and maché products.
• One part, waterbased modeling clays offer ease of use and economy. Great for detail with fine texture and low shrinkage rate
(0 to 2%), they dry to a hard finish. They are lightweight, extra strong clays. They are nontoxic, noncracking and nonhazardous. Air drying and curing time of 2 to 6 days depending on project size. They accept all paints and are great for intricate work. Available in colors.
• Two part clays offer extreme strength, durability, adhesion (if desired), 0% shrinkage, colors, and a generous 1 to 3 hour working time. Two part clays are waterproof and dishwasher safe! Great for indoor and outdoor uses. Two part clays adhere to wood, ceramic, metal, stone, glass, cement, foam, fiberglass and many plastics. Can be sanded, lathed, tapped, and otherwise tooled. Turn Apoxie® Sculpt on a lathe to make objects thinner than a paper clip! Available in many colors and metals.
• Maches are formable or useable for many classic and new purposes. Set times from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Multipurpose, nonasbestos and nontoxic maches are lightweight, strong and very versatile. Aves® Paper MacheTM offers great improvements over classic machés , with 30 minute set time. Master Maché™ is concentrated and sets up in about two hours. Aves® ClayShay™ feels like clay, sets like maché.™ It offers a one hour set time. All of Aves maché products are non-flammable and create durable, high-end results.
